Why I'm running
Now more than ever, Windsor needs experienced, bold leadership.
As the current Vice Mayor and a fourth year Councilmember for the Town of Windsor, I've taken on tough challenges and fought for Windsor.
Whether it was leading the community through the Kincade Fire, championing public health efforts during COVID-19, or fighting for Windsor's underrepresented communities through local initiatives, I've always stood up for Windsor.
As Mayor, I'll continue the work to build a community that represents and works for every Windsor resident.
As a former criminal prosecutor and member of law enforcement, public safety continues to be one of Esther’s top priorities. She understands the importance of being fiscally smart with public monies allocated to public safety, while maintaining a high level of service.
From the start of the pandemic, Esther was an early leader in the fight against COVID-19. She was also instrumental in helping to educate residents about the COVID-19 virus, the importance of testing, the availability of resources, and vaccination efforts and locations throughout the County.
Windsor is powered by small business, and Esther understands the importance of supporting our small businesses. On the Town Council, Esther has worked actively with the business community, and is committed to continuing to build upon those relationships as Mayor.
Having served in leadership roles during both the Tubbs and Kincade fires, Esther has the hands-on experience needed to lead during a natural disaster, while maintaining her calm to make the important decisions required to help preserve life and property.
